Assess

I’ll use cutting-edge lab testing to analyze over 400 unique blood, gut microbiome, and genetic markers so I can understand your health and your biology from the inside out.  I’ll evaluate your body composition, fitness level, sleep, recovery and performance psychology to identify roadblocks that are keeping you from looking, feeling and performing your best.

PLAN

Your plan is custom-made for you based on your personal goals and the results of your assessment.  It will give you very specific recommendations for your diet, nutrition, fitness, supplementation, sleep, recovery, and mental performance.  I can also communicate any health risks I find directly to your primary care doctor so we can work as a team to keep you as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

Even the highest-performing people have blindspots and performance anchors that keep them from their goals. The highest-performing people also know that having a coach is critical to their success. As your personal coach, I’ll help you start strong, stay on target, and support you each step of the way.

  1. How long is the program?  It depends on your goals.  Most of my clients sign up to work with me for a minimum of 6 months to a year in order to get the best, and longest-lasting outcomes.

  2. How much does it cost?  The total cost of your program depends entirely on your goals.  Prices can range from $800 for a basic assessment and plan to $11,000 for a comprehensive assessment, plan and 12 months of coaching.  If you're curious about what options will work best for you simply book a call with me and we’ll discuss your health goals.

  3. Do you ever work with women?  Yes!  It’s very common for my male clients to refer their wives to me.  In fact, when a couple or family are all working together to build a healthier life, their success is often exponential!

  4. What kind of labs and biometrics do you look at?  I use a specific blood test that evaluates over 150 specific blood-based biomarkers to look at every major system in your body including: energy, immunity, inflammation, detoxification, digestion, hormones, brain health, musculoskeletal health, nutrition status, cardiovascular health, metabolic health, some cancer risks, stress, recovery, and repair.  I also typically order a comprehensive gut health and gut microbiome assessment to see if you have any microbial imbalances that we can correct through diet, supplementation and detoxification.  I also like to look at specific genetic and epigenetic markers to give us an idea of how a person’s genes are affecting their current health and could impact their future health. We can also dig a lot deeper by analyzing metabolites like organic acids which give us a more comprehensive look at your metabolic health, nutrition, oxidative stress, inflammation, detoxification and other critical components of your health and longevity.

  5. What’s your background, credentials, and training? I’ve been in healthcare for over 25 years starting as a medical specialist and fitness instructor for the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. I was so passionate about fitness that I completed my first certification in exercise science from The International Sports Science Academy in 1998. Feeling there was a huge knowledge gap for diet and nutrition in both fitness and medicine I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutritional Biochemistry and conducted scientific research for the School Of Medicine and The School of Agriculture at The University of Nevada. I then went on to earn a Master’s Of Science In Traditional Chinese and Integrative Medicine from the Pacific College of Health Science. I have since completed many trainings and certifications in Functional Medicine, Functional Nutrition, Advanced Blood Chemistry Analysis, and Neuroscience-Based Performance Coaching. In addition to my ongoing health and performance coaching I had a clinical practice working in public health care helping people with severe chronic pain, emotional trauma and opioid addiction which I ran for over 15 years before retiring from clinical practice.
